Dr. Gary L. Marder is the medical director of Marder Dermatology, and Skin Cancer Center located in Port Saint Lucie and Okeechobee, Florida. Dr. Marder is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at three different medical schools, S.E.C.O.M./Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, L.E.C.O.M. in Bradenton, Florida, and Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Marder has practiced in Florida since 1983 and has a very unique practice. Dr. Marder not only specializes in dermatology, but he sub-specializes in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery for skin cancers, and is one of the only dermatologists in the state of Florida who is trained and state licensed to treat different skin cancers with radiation therapy in the office. Utilizing radiation therapy, Dr. Marder has been able to save many patients from surgery, as well as in preserving the ears, eyelids, nose, and lips from surgical disfigurement and scarring. To Dr. Marder, the patient's cosmetic outcome is as much as an important factor as insuring that the patient has an excellent curable surgical outcome.

Dr. Marder also specializes in and performs the following cosmetic procedures: BOTOX® Cosmetic, Collagen™, Sculptra™, eye-lifts, mini face-lifts, laser surgery for the removal of superficial and deep wrinkles, chemical peels, hair removal, tattoo removal, spider and varicose veins, as well as treating diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Marder travels extensively all over the world to keep up with the latest innovations in the field of dermatology and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Marder has patients who travel from as far south as Key West, from the west coast of Florida, and from northern Florida. Dr. Marder also has a keen interest in treating atopic dermatitis in patients through use of finding the cause of disease by performing inhalant and food allergy testing. Dr. Marder is Board Certified and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dermatologic Radiation Therapy Society, Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Dermatology Society, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, and the International Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.

Megan Bock

Megan Bock is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant. Megan received her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. She also has her Masters degree in Public Health and her Doctorate degree in Health Sciences. She is a fellow member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Megan has several published articles and has a chapter on wound care in the textbook Clinical Geriatrics. She has a great interest in research. Her mainstays of practice are skin cancers and general dermatology. Megan enjoys spending time with all of her patients and properly educating them and answering any question that they may have. She is able to diagnose and manage treatment for all new and follow up patients. She serves her community by performing frequent free skin cancer screening. Away form work Megan enjoys being with her husband and two children. Megan loves running, reading, writing and theater.

 

Holly L. Colindres. MSN, ARNP

Holly Colindres is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has chosen to specialize in Dermatology.  Holly earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University.  Holly practiced as a Registered Nurse at Herman’s Children’s Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.  Holly loves children and babies.  When she moved to Florida she practiced at both Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care units at Lawnwood Medical Center.  After moving to Port St. Lucie, Holly decided to pursue her dream to become a Nurse Practitioner.  She attained her master’s degree in nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2009.  Holly chose to practice in the field of Dermatology because she loves the diversity that dermatology has to offer, from general dermatology to assisting with surgery.  She especially loves being able to care for patients across the life span from infants to geriatrics.  Holly enjoys educating and providing quality and compassionate care to all of her patients and their families.  Holly is married and has a beautiful daughter.  She and her family enjoy boating, fishing and spending quality time together.
